I bought these specula to go with they fit very well. Im not sure if by 'pocket otoscope' you mean the dr mom otoscope or any other, like Welch Allen. These fit dr mom pocket otoscope perfectly.

Better

Nice home otoscope - much It's a little small so therefore not super easy to use if you're used to a standard wall mounted otoscope in a provider's office but price to product, I'm very pleased with this purchase. It is handy to have at home, more useful than a standard flashlight. It's nice that replacement disposable covers are also affordable and easily purchased on Amazon but I wish the case was big enough to keep a few in it so I don't have to keep the packages of refills contained and handy in the exact same area as the otoscope since the refills don't come in a nice package. 

I do like the case, just wish it could hold some refill covers. I like the pics you can see online to compare what you are seeing in real life but it would be nice if they had included them on a small card in the case for reference when you don't have internet access. than a standard flashlight.

Packaging

Packaging was filthy and did not fit Dr Mom Otoscope Onlion Buy On 2020, you can tell the difference in size visually. Which means its pretty significant. Regardless i wouldn't want to stick them in anyone's ears because the bag was filthy and just an overall bad choice of packaging for healthcare products. I wish i had taken pictures.

As an elementary school nurse, I frequently am the first person kiddos come to see when they’re ears are hurting. I do have a great Welch Allen otoscope in my clinic, but I was looking for a cost effective digital option so that I can show parents what I’m seeing in their kids ear to help get a sense of urgency across in getting to a MD for treatment. 

After trying a handful of different ones, I found this and I LOVE it. Granted, I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks but so far everything has been great. Picture quality is super clear and it’s incredibly easy to use. I love that it is lightweight/easily portable and has its own screen (versus most other digital options that connect to a cell phone, tablet, PC, etc. for use and image viewing). The only negative I have to say so far is regarding obtaining additional specula. They are significantly more expensive than the specula for my Welch Allen Dr Mom Otoscope Onlion Buy On Tiptopshopin 2020. This is a MAJOR issue for me considering the very tiny yearly budget I have to run my clinic for the entire school year.
