Test Method: I have used Soundpeats the true wireless earbuds manual for over 2 weeks now, in varying situations including, at work, on a flight, at home, while walking outside near busy roads, and while shopping at Grocery store. I have made a lot of phone calls/conference calls for work, listened to 2 full audiobooks, and played many types of music using Google Play Music radios (Pop, Rock, Jazz, House, Instrumental, OST etc). I primarily synced these to my OnePlus 3T, but also tried them with my Windows Laptop.
Packaging: The box looks and feels well put together, with the key features clearly visible called out. Inside the box the earbuds were found placed inside the Case which was surrounded by protection foam, and a second small paper box had the charging cable and the extra ear tips and wings. There is no reason to think that the device would get any damage during shipping.
Case: The case feels premium to the touch, and quite heavy compared to the other ones I have used/tried. It is not meant to be carried in the pocket (although you can), and I think the main reason contributing to the weight is the wireless charging and the large battery.
Earbuds: The design is different than the very commonplace elongated (think apple) or pebble (think Samsung). These protrude out more than other TWS Soundpeats true wireless, and I think that is necessitated by the Dual driver design, which are visible as they are encased in transparent plastic. Also, for the same reason they have the option to use ear wings in addition to the ear tips, to keep them stable in ear of all shapes and sizes (extra tips and wings of various sizes were in the package).
The LEDs on the earbuds are quite bright, and in regular use they stay lit in white, and blink when a notification comes on the phone which comes in handy when the earbuds are just sitting on the desk acting as additional notification options as in some phones the notifications can go silent when connected to Bluetooth devices. The large protruding design is actually a PLUS in my use case, as being very visible (size and LED) I do not get disturbed at work, as with the smaller type TWS ones people sometime are not able to know that I was on a phone call and ended up disturbing me. The max distance between Phone and Soundpeats true wireless earbuds manual was more than the stated range of 10m, I was able to get almost 30+ meters and that too between 2 floors (wood, not concrete). Within 10 to 15 meters there was zero drop outs or noise.
Charging: The Case has 4 LEDs on the outside front surface. When opening the case the LEDs will light up showing remaining battery life in the case (between 1 to 4 LEDs lighting), and the same LEDS show the charging status when connected to the USB C or to the wireless charger. The case also lights up either the left or the right most LEDs when the earbuds are put into the case to show which earbud is charging at a given time. If the case is open while charging the wireless earbuds manual then the earbuds LEDs light up in red and the case LEDs briefly show the remaining case battery life. When the earbuds are fully charged and the case is open, the red earbud LEDS turn off. Do keep in mind that max charging values are 5V 1A, so avoid the more powerful USB C charging bricks.
Battery Life: In mixed use (calls/music/audiobooks/radio) I have gotten about 5 to 6 hours when true wireless earbuds are fully charged, after that the cases fully charge the earbuds in under 90 minutes, and even a 10 minute charge is enough to give another 30 minutes of use, even though these are not fast charge devices. The case was able to charge the earbuds for about 3 full cycles, which gives at least 3 days of full use in my usage scenario. The case takes about 3 hours to fully charge when all 3 cycles have already been used by the earbuds.
Comfort: I have a nonstandard ear shape which makes it difficult for me to find the best fitting Soundpeats true earbuds (wireless and wired). And having the tips and wings design makes it very easy to make it fit my ears, and for the same reason they feel very comfortable. I have been able to use them continuously for hours without getting any pain in the ears, and taking them out of the ear and putting them in is also very simple again because of the tip and wings design. They also remain stable in the ear, and although I cannot say about running, but while brisk walking they never fell out. The sound isolation is also good because of the material used for the ear tips, but they do not completely remove the eternal sounds which is useful when in office or when walking the streets.
Music Quality: The first time I put these on I did not like the sound, and the reason for that was that due to the dual driver design I was hearing more of the music than I was used to in my older Soundpeats wireless earbuds.
