LED Sceptre Monitor

This is a really nice little monitor. I was not expecting much for a low-end monitor at a rock bottom price, but have to admit I am pleasantly surprised. Really, no cons at this price point. Pluses:

1. Very clear, sharp screen for a 1600 x 900 display. Has a better picture than a new 1920 x 1080 HP monitor I have.
2. Very good standard color saturation - not washed out at all. I did not feel the need to adjust color or brightness settings.
3. Good font clarity and sharpness.
4. Has integrated speakers, a nice surprise for such an inexpensive monitor, where many higher-end models don't include speakers. Speakers are not incredibly loud but are very clear and not tinny. The speakers work through the DVI to HDMI cable and there is no need for an extra audio cable.

5. Comes with a DVI-D to HDMI cable as well as a standard VGA to VGA cable. Monitor has a VGA output and two HDMI outputs, as well as audio outputs if you would rather not use the integrated speakers.
6. The monitor stand snaps to the base, and the stand screws into the monitor with just two screws. There is a strong hinge built in which allows easy tilting for your viewing preferences. Took a couple minutes to assemble.
7. Box comes with a screwdriver, so you don't need to have tools of your own.
8. Nice color-coded ports on the back.

DisplayPort DisplayPort has rapidly become the most versatile display connection, easily delivering video and audio.

What I mean by that is that I'm not nor will I proclaim to be, some professional in the field of gaming displays. I have however been playing on an old school vizio 1080p 60hz tv for 9 years. I bought this because I received advice from friends that I desperately needed a display upgrade and that they recommended a monitor with a high refresh rate preferably 120hz and a low response time. So I found this and it came today. Right off the bat the packaging was fantastic, there wasn't a trillion little pieces that were a pain in the ass to install, the stand to my knowledge feels like pure metal and is extremely sturdy and the best part??? It CAME with a 165hz ready displayport cable! I hooked this sucker up and immediately noticed the difference, I mean seriously no doubt I could literally tell the difference in overall quality and gameplay instantaneously.

Very seldom has an item taken my breath away over the sheer quality but this very much so did. Now don't misunderstand me, if you have more money OBVIOUSLY there's better products with better image quality but for 179.99 I truly believe I got away with theft. I am so beyond pleased at this product. I reckon my only complaint would be the speakers but who in the blue hell even uses though for pc gaming..lol I definitely without a shadow of doubt recommend this to anyone looking to amp up their Frameless LED Sceptre Monitor up to 75Hz Ultra. It's just so good...

Coming down from an ACER predator XB271HU. So far impressed with what you get for 300 bucks+tax. The monitor came in with no dead or blemishes. The colors are vibrant, not as good as a my predator but more than good enough with the contrast knocking my xb271hu out of the water. I had no problem going into the osd and changing the settings straight to 200hz. Freesync isn't quite as good nvidia's proprietary hardware based gsync but more than good enough, you won't notice any difference unless you purposely go looking for differences.
Mainly this came down to looking for slight tearing at sub 60fps range while moving back and forth/up and down rapidly in order to cause anything noticeable. The freesync range is a nice 48-200hz that i was able to extend slightly to 40-200hz with cru. With this being a VA panel with an advertised 5ms response(gtg) ghosting was to be expected at the higher refresh rates. Surprisingly though there was minimal ghosting even when i took this up 150-200fps in overwatch/ffxiv/vermintide 2/ ffxv/ ni no kuni 2/black desert online/shadow of war/ doom/pubg/RB Siege/ warframe/witcher 3/ AC odyssey. 30+ Years of Experience

Founded in the City of Industry, California over 30 years ago, Sceptre Inc. made a promise to create and deliver superior products for remarkably affordable prices, a rare tradition that has continued to this day.
30" Curved Creative monitor 2560 x 1080 FHD resolution up to 85 Hz refresh rate AdaptiveSync compatible edgeless bezel design 2 x HDMI, 1 x DisplayPort with 1ms moving picture response time (MPRT), ghosting and blurring are reduced so the user can enjoy the monitor with clarity and precision.

This Sceptre 30-inch Curved Gaming Monitor Ultrawide Ultra Slim.It misleads us with what is the information. It is an adaptive sync. This type of sync is no longer being used. Due to the fact it some times worked on some AMD and others not. It only works on low end old graphic cards. This is very deceptive on the sale sight part. I had so much about Spector monitors. Now I am not going to buy until I do full research on their products.

Because of this, the best FPS I got was 40. I have an AMD 5700x with AMD processor 9. I say never buy from this seller. Never know what else the company is hiding. Look at the picture below.

Kind of a piece of crap, it’s average if anything because yeah free sync and 85hz are pretty cool until you realize that the monitor has the worst stand in existence (get a safety strap seriously, it will fall off easily if you don’t) and the colors on it are okay but nowhere near as good as other $200 regular monitors are at.

I needed something large and inexpensive to hang off of a gaming laptop. Nothing top of the line but I needed a decent screen at a decent price. This monitor does the job. As a bonus I seem to be having no issues getting Free sync to work via the onboard 1060 as g-sync compatible. Sceptre 30-inch Curved Gaming Monitor Ultrawide Ultra Slim .For less than $200 I'm not sure this deal can be beat.

Best Sceptre Monitor Curved

Best For Gaming Monitor 144hz Sceptre Curved: As some people are complaining about the poor viewing angle, I believe it. If you are going to place this where your head is going to be positioned directly in front of the screen, you should be fine. If you are going to place it where people will look up or down, you may not like it. The screen looks dark when you look at it from the side.

For those of you who are planning to attach a VESA mount for the arm, those holes on the back are for 75x75mm. Most of the VESA mounting bracket comes with 75x75 and 100x100mm ready, but if you look at my picture in the attachment, you will know that the bracket has to stick out. Depending on the shape of your bracket, it can completely block the access for the cable connections.

Once I turned on my computer and noticed that the texts and pictures are not so crisp. After I installed the driver for the, it took care of the problem. You can google "Philips 246E9QDSB" and find the download link under support on the product website. Readme text file included in the driver folder will tell you how to install it.

its a pretty lil thing for sure, color scheme is decent but nothing crazy like a 4k IPS display it doesn't POP and wow by any means but it gets the job done. the power cord is fairly short so be sure to have a power strip or outlet with 3 feet of placement. My biggest pet peeve about this is the fact that it shakes everytime I type on my keyboard, or if i make rapid movements with my mouse. The neck of the stand is soo skinny for the width of the screen that it just looks like a big bobble head on my desk. now maybe if you have one of those computer desks with the extending shelf to place your keyboard on you may not have this problem but my screen sits right in front of my keyboard and it can give me a headache sometimes if my screen is shaking all the time.

The sound on this units is...horrible. but who buys a for speakers anyway right? I either use my headphones or I swithc the sound setting to use my default speakers on the laptop instead. 75hz refresh rate is not very noticable to me when im playing games but that may be a personal thing. I once had a gsync 144hz montior and i always compare screens to that. Doesnt come close. And for some games for some reason the game will freeze whenever Im changes video settings like vsync or windowed to fullscreen settings. BO4 wont even go past the loading screen when I have this plugged into my laptop. There may be some settings Id have to change on the game client itself but who wants to go through that hassle.

Overall I have to say i am kind of meh about it, its a 120 dollar screen what can you say, the picture quality is great, no dead pixels, sound sucks, wobbles way to much cuz its soo light, and few hiccups with getting games to work with theBest For Gaming Sceptre 144hz Monitor Curved manually changing things around.

VESA compatible?

Yes, VESA 75 I believe. I didn't measure, but I used it with a wall mount arm that supported various VESA standards and the monitor fit perfectly on one of them.

I purchased 2 of these...why...I like the brand (I have many of these brand at work) but MOST important, "Edge-Less" Was I expecting a 1mm edge...nope, but around 5mm would be considered "edgeless" ina budget monitor...this one...10mm (3/8 in) The pictures, they show image edge to edge, the box, yup...edge to edge.If you are like me and have a multiple monitor setup, that is an important consideration, you don't want a inch of black useless space in the middle of your work area, these, that is exactly what you get.
They look great if you have a single monitor, they are curved enough to be good and not enough to get glare from the other lights, so they get one star because some people that will only buy one, will not care about the big edge these monitors have.

DISPLAY IS UNCLEAR AND UNSTABLE: To stabilize and clarify your display, use the AUTO ADJUST function or change the resolution to the display’s optimal setting 1920 x1080 at 60Hz, then AUTO ADJUST . After shopping around I Best For Gaming Sceptre 144hz Monitor Curved, decided to purchase 2 of these because you can't beat the price and honestly it's 2017 I don't know why so many monitors are still over priced. This was one of few that had VESA mounting capability at this size. The only bad reviews are saying that you can't mount it, you can, it's really easy- see my photos. My mount didn't come with spacers so I e-mailed Sceptre and they priority mailed me spacers. Now I have a great curved home office at about half the cost. I've been using them for a week- picture quality is great, I mostly use them for work and don't do and gaming so i can't really speak to that. As long as they last a while, I'll be very happy, they look great.

Honest opinion review!

Okay so I do have something to say about these monitors because I bought 3 for a triple setup... Thing I liked about these monitors are the size for the money. They are really well built! Have a really nice perfect curavture! Just perfect when it comes to the build of the monitor. What I did not like is what people usually complain about down in the comments which is the screen being a bit blurry. they are right YES and NO. When they say the text is to blurry or you can see every pixel. It's a lie. The text is fine... It does reduce resolution even if it is 1080p. It's stretched to 32" guys c'mon... It's not to blurry at a difference when gaming but is fairly noticeable up close. The thing that is really noticable is the black LED's on this monitor which are horrifyingly grey instead of black. Like a washed out black. I think this would be due to the backlight. Other than those 2 things this monitor is REALLY REALLY GOOD! SPECIALLY with 3!

The Monitors are still holding strong. I have recently added a Samsung sound bar above the monitors for extra sound, it came with a wireless subwoofer. Last night I thought I saw the left screen that ive been using flicker but I think it was just for a moment due to how much power im consuming. trying my hardest to figure out how to mount all three of these but cannot. TOO BIG. Will keep updating. If you have any questions or if this Best For Gaming Sceptre 144hz Monitor Curved review helped you out. leave a like an comment below! Thanks.
